Marian Rivera is the New Darna

After weeks of speculations, demands from fans and denials, GMA-7 has officially announced that Marian Rivera is set to be the newest Darna. The said announcement was made yesterday April 23 on the 7th floor of the GMA Networkd Center.
According to Miss Wilma Galvante, this is a solo project for Marian Rivera and as much as they would have liked it to be a Captain Barbell-Darna series, they decided to make it all about Darna.
As for the moment, there is still no definite schedule when the taping would start and when would it air on GMA, also undecided is Marian Rivera’s leading man.

Next week, the theme for the Top 5 is Jazz Standards.
From the FOX press release:
Next week, the Top 5 finalists – Kris Allen, Matt Giraud, Danny Gokey, Allison Iraheta and Adam Lambert – take the stage again Tuesday, April 28 (8:00-9:01 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) to perform standards made famous by members of the original Rat Pack, a group of legendary performers that included Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.
And during the Results Night, the American Idol producers FINALLY(I cannot contain my glee) invited the Season 5 winner Taylor Hicks to perform.

Lil Rounds and are going home after being eliminated from the reality TV show American Idol Season 8.
The elimination was the second double elimination round for the season the first one during the Top 13.
Still in the competition are Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, Danny Gokey, Matt Giraud and Allison Iraheta.
